Does anybody have any helpful information regarding putting 2 lines on one phone?
Ill start by asking, why?
Do you have two separate phones now that you wish to combine or you need a local number?
The most logical answer is no, however you can sign up for or port a number to google voice. Then utilize the app on your other phone. Thereby having two numbers on your device. You can make and receive calls on GV as well as text and have a separate vm box. I do believe it uses your plan minutes though.
Hope this helps.
@tinlizzy70,Never fear help is here! I totally understand how convenient it may be for you to have two different lines on one cell phone, but we do not offer that option. Have you considered adding a separate line instead? With our Share Everything plan it would only be an additional $40.00 a month for a smartphone and you would just share the plan. Here's the situation:
I have a loved one in prison. I do not have a land line and cell phones do
not accept collect calls. But there is a company that allows you to open
an account, put money on the account, and they route prison calls to your
cell phone. Here's the problem, it costs up the yang for each call; partly
due to the area code on my phone and the area code from where the calls are
coming from. I was hoping to find better affordable alternative. Any
advice?
