Accuracy of data usage

I am new to Verizon. We have two smart phones on a shared data plan. We just experienced a 250MB jump in usage that is not listed on either phone's data usage or anywhere on Verizon's detailed usage page. Is this normal? I signed up for a 6GB plan but can see us needing a bigger plan if there is phantom data moving around.

Any thought would be be appreciated.

Welcom to the nations biggest and best network! I'm impressed that your watching your data. Sometimes tower can be delayed. Is the usage still unexplained? It should refresh after 48 hrs?

I'm having a similar problem that makes no sense to me. I have a 2GB plan, and according to my data tracker I've used just over 50% of that during this billing cycle. Yet I am receiving messages from Verizon that say I've reached my limit--100% of my data--and I will need to either buy another gig or incur overage charges. What's going on?
