I know by seeing some prior posts that this subject has been brought up before. Been a Verizon customer for 10 or 11 years. The ONLY purpose of my post is to complain about Verizon's policies. I had the unlimited data plan until I had to upgrade my wife's phone today. So, now because I have only one upgrade available, I am FORCED off my plan. Does "Obamacare" ring a bell? I also learned of Verizon's particularly GREEDY "Upgrade Fee" of $30.00. C'mon Verizon, isn't your profit margin high enough that you don't have to take advantage of your customers. Yes, I heard all the crap thrown out by the customer service reps regarding the fee subsidizing the cost of the phone due to the pricing policies of the manufacturers. If you HAVE to be greedy, just raise the selling price of the phones by $30.00. I'll pay it without the BITTER taste in my mouth from paying an inane, ridiculous "Upgrade Fee" attached to it.. This is EXACTLY the way you feel when buying a vehicle from a dealer and the dealer tries to throw everything he can in to get more profit out of you.
Never before knew Verizon to be this GREEDY! Very pathetic, Verizon.
