My daughter and I have had services with Verizon for a long time but cannot get service at our own homes (Arkansas). We have talked to them MANY, MANY, MANY times but their attitude is "buy" a device (?) to go in your home or "OH, WELL" is their attitude. We have to go 10-15 miles down the highway to get coverage (where there is a tower) before we can use the phone. My bill is toooooo high for what useage I get out of it. They should pay me instead of me paying them for what few times I can use it.
This last month, my service was shut off for non-payment but when payment arrived it was turned back on. You couldn't prove it by me whether service was off or not because I never went anywhere to get service but yet I was billed $15.00 per line PLUS TAX (on what???) to raise my bill too high for me. Their attitude is "OH, WELL".
We were on our way back from Missouri and I was talking to Verizon in the Town of Jasper (in the mountains) and service was good. I asked why we couldn't get the same service in the litle town we live in as Jasper is surrounded by mountains. One intellegent individual said if enough people complained they could put up a device on the existing tower to point our way. Heard nothing more. We are thinking of getting rid of Verizon and buying minutes for what we use it for.
Anybody else have this trouble??????
