For the past several months I have been unable to pay my bill online. The site tells me that the service is temporarily unavailable. Why has this service been down for months now?
If you're using the Firefox or a different browser than IE, try using IE. I don't like it myself, but Firefox is my fave, and it just doesn;t work to the fullest with VZW.
I just tried with Internet Explorer. Still getting this message:
The activity you are trying to perform is currently unavailable. Please try
again later.
It says that I am signed in, but it will not let me view my usage, view
bill, pay bill, etc. Everything I choose, gives the above message.
Also, when I try to go to chat, it tells me all agents are busy.
Is IE up to date? Maybe you have a firewall or something? Some sort of security settings set up, maybe a plug in that's needed to view? Not sure... It works for me on IE. Works on Chrome too for me, found that one out on my gf laptop, her laptop hates IE, runs extremely slow.
Clear your cache and cookie data from the browsers internet settings.
Turn the computer off then back on. Presto your problem is gone.
Do this in all browsers occasionally to keep your pages up to date.

That's very strange, wingking2000. Our online bill view and payment system has been up and running smooth lately. In fact, I just made my payment last week on My Verizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc. When you log into My Verizon, does the home page show you as the Account Owner, Account Manager, or Account Member? A few of your fellow community members made some excellent suggestions about your browser. Also, double check your pop up blockers and antivirus programs to ensure they are not blocking Verizon Wireless at all.
