I accidentally deleted the play store off my phone...how do I get the icon back on?

Somehow I accidentally deleted the icon on my phone for the google play store...I have checked the phone and it is completely deleted off the phone. How can I get it back on my phone? If I reset the phone (after backing it up of course) will the icon be back? Any help would be great...thank you!

Is it just deleted from the home screen? Can you find it in the app drawer? Is possible you only disabled the application? Since the Play Store is a system application, it can't be uninstalled completely. It can be disabled.

If you did uninstall the app, let us all know the steps. There are a lot more of them I and alot others would like to get rid of.

Since it is a preinstalled apps, you can not delete it. As Ann said, depending upon your phone and OS, you can disable it. Check in the apps drawer. If you can not find it there, go to Systems>Application Manager, then flip the top files to "all". Next flip down the list until you get to Google Play Store. Tap on it and you will see a key titled "Enable". Tap on this and it should return to normal. You probably will have to put it on a home screen, if you want to.
