Text frm Vtext.com

I received a text msg from 00091@vtext.com asking me to call a number. I did and was told my debit card had been limited due to a security error. I was then asked to enter my debit card number which I DID NOT enter. I call my bank and was told this was definitely an attempt to gain my personal info. Anyone ever have any of these requests?

I called vzw support and rep told me to email the text to phishing@verizonwireless.com

Did so and got an auto reply to send spam texts to 7726 which I did as well.

Yes.got.a.vtext.message.too.Definitely.a.scam.Do.not.call.the.listed.numbers.and.give.debit/credit.card.info.

Thanks for alerting us of this issue jpalmer6. We take our customer's privacy very seriously. We would never call you to ask for your credit card number by phone. I want to report this info to our corporate security team. Do you still have the number that you were asked to call?

I have also been getting random text messages telling me to Reply Y to send all txt messaged to this number (9822498314) which was identified in the text as a landline phone....details @ vtext.com. Every since this update, which it did all on its own, my phone is randomly shutting off and restarting, sometimes it locks up and I have to take the cover off and the battery out in order to get it to work again. BEFORE this update I only had to charge my phone at night, after being on it most of the day, NOW, I find myself charging it at least 2 or 3 times a day. Then it overheats. WTH!!! A friend in another state with a S3, on a different carrier, was having battery problems, overheating, random shutdowns & restarts ,etc she took her phone to her carrier they scanned her serial # and the rep at the store stated that Samsung is replacing the S3 with an S4 due to all of the problems being experienced. She will be getting her new phone within a week. I haven't tried this yet due to the fact that I DO NOT want a refurbished phone. I've been down that route too many times and for what you have to pay for a phone these days and then the insurance & deductible, it's simply not worth it.

Quite frankly I am sick and tired of Verizon and the way that they treat their customers. I have 8 people in my immediate family who all switched to Verizon quite a few years ago on my recommendation b/c at one time it was the best company out there with the best coverage. NOT anymore and when my contract is up I am switching providers. I have had it with this corporate conglomerate who doesn't give a flying flip about the people who are paying their wages by using Verizon as their provider.

I recieved this same Spamm 3 times today. I called number but did not add the information

The number that I have been given to call today was 3152992623 AcheiveAccountFrozen and I recieved 3 of the same text today asking to call number and enter account number and social security number.

Did not do either.. need this blocked from my number.
