Intuition Novemeber 2013 Update

I recently did the update for my intuition and I'm having issues and wanted to see if anybody else has had them or if they know how to fix it.

-my battery doesn't last long, I'm lucky if I can get 2 hours out of it before I can get to a charger

-when charging in my car or on my computer it charges extremely slow, about 1% per minute

-my contact names don't show in the main text message screen

-having issues downloading pictures from texts

-apps run super slow

I'm also experiencing issues....

-Gmail for starters, nearly all my emails are now gone. Most recent emails are from 2012!

-Contacts, also had contact issues. Missing tons of contacts. Just vanished. Didn't show up my text message screen, but when I went into the contacts, they were gone.

That doesn't seem like the side effects you should have from such a great update, Jecca39. Since you mentioned charging your phone through your car and computer, do you also still charge it using the original home charger that came with the phone as the main charger? Do you notice similar trouble with the phone charging slower than normal using any home chargers? Please try to put your phone into Safe Mode http://vz.to/17G9OWI for a day and see if you have the same battery, slowness, and missing details while the phone is in Safe Mode. You may not be able to access third party applications while in this mode, since it will bring the phone to a more basic platform to test the inner workings.

I know its frustrating to have issues with your device after an update cabanagirl. Have you tried to diable the email completely and then sign back in? Sign completely out of your emails. This should help. Additionally, did you backup your contacts via Google or backup assistance http://vz.to/19KYWVf .Please keep us posted.

My messager has been REALLY slow opening up and sending texts since the software update, I've also noticed that my phone seems slower in general. I've tried restarting the phone, but it's still running just as slow. I wish I never would have updated my device :smileysad:

Fridge001, let's speed it up! Try deleting unwanted text messaging conversations and uninstall any unwanted applications in the settings of your device. Once you have deleted this information, power it off/on to soft reset. Keep us posted.
