does anyone find it interesting that an complaint is responded to in a positive manor supporting Verizon? So much for a public forum. I complained about my lack of service at my house and what has happened its gotten worse. Can hardly wait for follow up from FCC on complaint.

Ha ha you don't have to worry about a positive response from me. I am open minded.

First if you have no service at your house did this happen from day one? Or did this happen after a new phone purchase? Did it happen with a cell phone or from a verizon hotspot device, repeater? You did not give enough information to know what to do.

Do you have service everywhere else? Have you call verizon tech support? *611 or 800-922-0204 and tried to troubleshoot the problem? Did you try going to the store a verizon corporate one and have them look at it? Did you ask to get another device sent in exchange? Did you have others such as friends try to see if they have service? Or did you make no attempt to resolve the issues other than filing a complaint to an outside agency who by the way will ask these same questions of you to get correct answers or information.

Write back with exact problems and steps you have already taken and maybe another customer here can assist you.

I may find it necessary to post a rambling, barely coherent post later today about a (possible) $397 first-month bill. "Possible bill," because although I received a cryptic email about a $397 Verizon bill, I am unable to view the bill yet. Instead, I am greeted on "My Verizon" with the message that my $397 bill is "being prepared at this time." Approximately 1/5th of my available 8GBs have been used. What could they possibly come up with for the other $300 portion of the bill. But I digress...

That would depend on how many lines/devices you have on your account. First month bills will also include activation fees. They will also include a partial month of service(date of activation until your billing date) PLUS a full month of service(Verizon bills a month in advance).

Depending on when your billing date falls and when you started service, your 1st month's bill could be close in cost to 2 months with activation fees being additional. If you have close to a full month between the time you started your service until your billing date, your 1st month's bill would ALMOST be double, or more than double when you factor in activation fees. If there is not much time between the time you started service until your billing date, then the difference between your 1st month's bill and a normal bill would be smaller.

Your second month's bill should be closer to normal.
