you will receive a message on your phone that tells you that an update is avail.
then there will be a choice of installing now, later, or cancel
your phone needs to have at least 40% power to receive the update and if you choose to wait till later, i believe you now have 72 hours to install it or you lose your chance. you will then have to wait for after a while.
