Hello everyone. I need some information from either a Verizon support person or just a regular customer who may have knowledge about my issue. Well, I ordered a new cell phone before my upgrade eligibility, and I had been told I would be able to pay for this phone on a payment plan of several months versus paying the full $400 at one time, but I've been billed for the whole amount of the phone plus my current service bill. This bill was due on the 11th; today is the 14th. I was told by Verizon rep. that I have to be 10 days late before the financial department will even work with me in setting up a payment plan. (There is no way I can pay this full amount right away). The thing is, I've heard that Verizon will only set you up for 2 payments, but I will need to have a payment plan of at least 4 payments to get this paid...Well, my future bills will be adding into the balance and I will incure late charges too..plus I don't want my service to be interrupted! What I wish Verizon could do is put the charge for the phone on a separate bill and allow me to make payments, and let me pay my monthly service charges on time...Does anybody know if this is possible or what my possible solutions could be?? I regret ordering the phone before my upgrade date. This is all my fault, but I'm hoping that the company is sympathetic or understanding enough to help me out. thank you all very much for great answers...
