Switching to new carrier, which ones should I avoid?

I signed up for Global Data when I went on vacation. I was assured it would end in September. I'm still being charged $25 dollars for it!!!! I can sign onto My Verizon Mobile and look at bills, accts, etc. When I try to call Customer Report, all the sudden my password is not the same.... ARGH!!!!!!!!

And Chat is never available. I've called from a land line, and never gotten through! Does anyone even work at Verizon?????

I'm really upset. This has been months of not being able to email or phone someone.

For those who switched to Verizon from another carrier recently, please tell me which ones to avoid.

They should have a process to assist you in getting your password reset so you can speak with a customer service representative over the phone. Make sure you call from a device on your account to assist in the verification process.

I switched to verizon from cricket and I enjoyed cricket for my needs but my needs changed and I took advantage of verizon's reliable coverage.

blueamy2000, I hope you had a fabulous vacation! Removing the Global plan shouldn't be this difficult for you. Customer Service requests to remove features from your account are done on the bill cycle date to ensure that you recieve the full data allowance and to avoid potential overage charges. Let's verify if the feature has been removed. Click http://bit.ly/xB4iTc and select the option, "Forgot Password." You'll be provided with the option to reset your password to access your account. Keep us posted.

Of the big 4, they all have at least one big failing:

AT&T/Verizon: price

Sprint: network data speeds, coverage area

T-Mobile: coverage area.

Of the "little guys", there's two varieties:

MVNOs such as Straight Talk, Ting, Republic Wireless, etc: they don't operate their own network, so find out who they *do* run off of, if it's Sprint or T-Mobile, be aware of their network limitations.

smaller carriers such as US Cellular actually operate their own networks still, generally they're cheaper than the big 4, yet more expensive than one of the prepaid carriers. Some have their own perks. Many are regional and either don't offer or charge high rates for roaming outside of a designated calling area.

I would say stay way from VERIZON.........they are the most cost per month as for there data use.
