3G doesn't work on droid eris....

I got my Eris yesterday, and the internet works fine with the WiFi connection, but the 3G never kicks in. I go to places without WiFi and I can't connect to the internet or email or anything, I can only send/receive calls and texts. What is going on??

I'd look at your coverage map for 3G service and call CS to have your settings checked, make sure they activated your data service.
