I have a shared plan. My second user had problems with his phone and took it to a Verizon store for support. They ordered new battery. He returned to have battery replaced and phone still was not working, so they ordered a replacement. Original phone was a Stratosphere and replacement was Galaxy 3.
he returned with both phones hoping to have important info transferred. Tech went to back room to do transfer but was taking forever so he left telling another tech that he had to leave (had to say Mass as he is a Priest) and would return for phone. He returned several days later and Tech was not available, when he called they did not have the phone. We have been trying to retrieve this phone for some time thru Verizon Tech support without success. They lost the phone or someone walked away with it and Verizon wants me to pay $450 for it. I never paid that amount for the phone $100 because it was a discontinued model and now they have suspended my service. Can anything be done about this situation other than paying $450 dollars for a phone we don't have and Verizon misplaced? I have always paid my bill on time and never missed payments.
