Google Nexus 4 use on Prepaid?

I'm a prepaid customer with Verizon, and the service is great...but the prepaid phones suck. Plain and simple. I had the Samsung Galaxy S2 with Boost Mobile, and while I loved the phone, the service was utter crap. So I switched, but I don't like that I have to make do with a crappy phone. So what are my options? I really like the Google Nexus 4, which is an unlocked phone, but I've heard that it uses SIM cards, and the Verizon doesn't use SIM cards for their service. So what are my options? Is there any work around this?

There is still the matter of Verizon Wireless uses CDMA for their voice network. The Nexus 4 is a GSM only device and is completely incompatible with the network used by Verizon Wireless.

Verizon Wireless prepaid calling plans only work with their 1x/3G only phones.
