Problem with droid sending/receiving MMS

Has anyone else had any problem sending/receiving mms messages? When I try to send a message it usually will just sit there with the little red clock icon and never send. Sometimes (not always) when I get an mms message I can click the "Download" button and it will say downloading but never actually download.

Any ideas?

I've never *received* an MMS message, so I can't comment :smileyhappy:

I have, however, tried sending a few pictures over the past couple months, some go, some get stuck... Try using Handcent SMS app which will automatically re-size the message better than the default MMS app, and they seem to go through more reliably.

Hopefully this will be resolved shortly with 2.1

Handcent is leaps and bounds ahead of the default SMS app. I doubt the default one will get much of an update. Those running hacked 2.1 don't seem to mention that as an update or fix in 2.1.

Haven't tried handcent yet for sending, seem to have the same issue receiving messages as the default application.
