Using Droid as Media Player/Device - both Slacker and Music play at same time

I have a Ford's Sync in my car.

 

I connect the Droid to the car using USB cable and it attempted to connect as  a media player/device - no surprise.

 

My goal was to use Slacker while driving kind of like my satellite radio (except for free, haha).

 

When I did this, Music (my transfered songs on the Droid) started playing while Slacker's radio was playing.

 

Hmmm....

 

I had to back out of Slacker and go pause Music. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but I was sitting in the garage with the car running while my wife was looking at me with the  lets-go-already expression. 

 

Any idea how to connect as a media/device without Music launching?

 

I wonder if this is a Droid or Sync issue?

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Mot sure if this is the issue. From your home screen touch Menu->Settings->Applications->Manage Applications. Then touch Menu->Filter->All. Scroll to Music and touch it. Is the Clear Defaults button enabled? If it is touch it.
