Casio Commando 4G - No Charging Dock!?!

I bought this phone for it's ruggedness and the fact that it was waterproof. There are other phones that are waterproof but none that seem as tough. However, what is the point since I will apparently wear out the o-ring on the plug covering the USB port long before the charging dock is "in stock". With the charging dock it's not necessary to open any water-tight plugs on the phone since the dock uses the external charging contacts exposed on the side of the phone. Also, where is the car dock for this phone?!?!

I should never have to open one of the water-tight plugs unless I want to. Let me say that again... unless I want to. Right now, I have to. With no other way to charge this phone (you have also not released the wireless charging battery door) I am forced to wear out the plug over the USB port. When, exactly, will it be available and were is the car dock? And please don't blame Casio. I didn't buy the phone from Casio. I am your customer, not theirs!

Unfortunately, with a less than popular phone, the accessories are a lot less available. And, Verizon doesn't manufacture the accessories so, unless someone makes them, they can't sell them. If I were you, I would look around somewhere else to see if you can purchase the dock you are looking for.

I appreciate your opinion but it doesn't address my grievance. The responsibility is on Verizon as the sole distributor of that phone/model to ensure that such necessities are made available. As I stated, in order to charge the phone you must remove a water-tight plug to expose the USB port. This will wear out the plug and eventually lead to water intrusion. If there was an OEM option I would, of course, purchase it.

My question is still exactly when will the dock be back in stock?

This is a peer to peer forum, you won't get that answer here. Though I would be surprised if they even stock it anymore. I doubt they sell enough to make it worth it to them to stock them.

Verizon provides voice, text and data... I would look at Casio for accessories

I have a family member who has the 3G only version of this device. They never got the dock for it. They never wore out the seal on the charger port. They have had it over two years.
