I'm just posting to express my frustration with Verizon Wireless imposing a $15 per month fee to allow customers to get their corporate email on their phones. The fee is outrageous, and is not any relief at all for some perceived "burden" Verizon is undergoing by allowing ActiveSync traffic on their network. I'm one of millions of people whose company also wants them to stay in touch via email - installing the Good Mobile messaging client provided by them. I get less than half the amount of corporate mail than I get personal mail, and charging this exorbitant fee is simply being a troll at the entrance to available Internet services, deciding that since a company is involved, they can afford to take a little more.
I was made to switch from my unlimited plan (of which I rarely used 4GB), to a much higher cost plan with lower data cap (another arbitrary limit), so that I could choose to tether my laptop (only in emergencies - I almost never used it), and to add icing to that cake, I had to then pay the additional $15 per month, so now doubling my data plan cost with no additional benefits or service improvements.
Your greed is uncontrolled, and I plan to find the nearest class-action lawsuit to join so that the courts will put your greed in check! I know this will get no where in this forum, but I'm going to make sure everyone hears it.
