no Bluetooth connection on HTC Droid ERIS

We just bought 2 HTC Droid ERIS phones but are having problems with the bluetooth on both of them.

The phones will not connect with each other or other devices(other cellphones and laptops). There is a message on the ERIS phone saying that the devices are "Paired but not connected". We can not send or recieve files of any type using the bluetooth.

Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix this? We took them back to the Verizon store but they had no idea what to do about it...

One other thing. When sending/receiving a file using the computer there is a message saying that we need an "OBEX File Push Profile" installed on the phone.

Does this mean that we can't send pictures from the phone to a computer using bluetooth?

What's the point of having bluetooth if you can't use it

I have to agree...I can connect to my PC but I don't get a send option from my eris, and the PC doesn't recognize any services as far as between it and the eris. Hmm..nto sure what to tell you at this time. If I find anything, I will update ya. Try checking through market for bluetooth app that sends and receives. It may need a direct app fot it to be installed the rest of the way.. I read it was supposed to be compiled in 1.5 android, the one on the eris. The update is supposed to have better support for bluetooth using a newer stack, but it doesn't have an "official" release date at this time.
