I have been a loyal Verizon customer for many years (10+)and have had up to four lines on my account at one time. My Droid phone is due for an upgrade on March 8, 2014. For the last several months my phone has been acting up. Can't open my email program all the time, missed texts and it takes forever to start up. I called Customer Service today and asked if there was any way I could get an early upgrade and was told that my only options were to get a replacement phone through my insurance or to get a new phone through the Verizon Edge program. I'm not interested in either of these options and am a bit surprised that Verizon can't reward a loyal customer with a small request that isn't going to cost them anything as my contract will still be extended another two years.
