I saw on the site that there is a limited time offer for an unlimited talk and text plan for $45/month. I did a live chat with a Verizon rep (Torrie) to see if I qualified for the plan, they advised me that I did but that I had to call telesales at 888-748-5712 in order to get my plan switched over. So, I call the number and after several minutes a Verizon rep (Justin) gets on the line, once I tell him what I am calling for he immediately says that he has to transfer me and doesn't wait for a response from me. I just waited about 10 minutes to get him and then he puts me on hold again for another 10 minutes. I don't know who I spoke to the 3rd time around, but when I told this Verizon rep what I was calling for, she exclaimed that the plan was news to her. She said she was going on to the website to check it out, and all she did was read the same information that I see on your website. She then proceeded to tell me that the offer was for an additional line. No where on the offer does it state that on the website (unless it's microlly hidden as a disclaimer some place where it's not obvious). Mind you I had already talked to 2 reps previously and the purpose of the live chat was so that I didn't waste my time being placed on hold. I never call your customer service, even though your phone service is less than stellar, I don't call for exactly this reason. Your reps are not helpful, why even offer a live chat if that person is going to tell me to call, the purpose of the chat is to avoid the calling and the waiting. Also, it is very evident that your reps are not properly trained. I read the same information off of your website, yet it was interpreted differently. How can I be sure that the information I was given is even accurate. With the amount of money that you charge for your services, I would expect your customer service reps to be better at what they do. This is the last straw for me and I will be changing providers immediately!
