Sync contacts to phone from online?

Hi,

I switched back to an older phone I previously used and the Backup Assistant is not working. I have restored to factory setting and have dealt with Verizon tech support on the phone and still no contacts on my phone. Am I able to simply hit the "sync all" button on the contacts page from My Verizon and then have that sync with my current phone or will that sync from my phone and update my contacts to nothing?

Lets get your contacts to download, stepperroo! Which device do you currently have? Which device are you switching from? When logging on www.vzw.com/backupassistant are the contacts there?
