Contract End Date Question

Hello all,

My contract end date is 11/02 and I've already paid for this month. Will the contract auto-terminate on 11/02, meaning I no longer have phone service with Verizon? If so, do I have to talk to a representative to make sure my account is closed and I am no longer billed?

Your account will automatically switch to a "month to month" contract once your two year commitment is completed. If you truly want to cancel the account, wait until the contract date has passed and you are close to your billing cycle date as you will be charged for the whole month. If you want your phone number, you need to port the number elsewhere. This will automatically close the account. Otherwise you have to go to a store or call customer service to close your account.
