Promotional Mailer

I got a VZW mailer today marketing phones. They have a basic phone on there and it says "2 year upgrade, data plan reqd". For an Intensity 3!!! Now this may not matter if you are in share everything but now the basic pho es oncw again need data?! So you have to get a tiered plan or switch to share everything. Im not normally a VZW basher by any means, but...uh..... thats bogus.

I'm not sure what the promotional mailer says, but the Intensity III does not require a data plan on Verizon's website.

On the website you can get this phone on a standalone Share Everything plan with 700 minutes and pay as you go text/data for $40/month.

You have to use the desktop version of the forum site. The upload abilities might depend on the device. Please also remove any personal information from the image BEFORE posting it.

As I said previously, the website says you do not need a data plan.

Here is the Share Everything plan which does not require data

Of course if there is ALSO a smartphone or device other than a basic phone on the Share Everything plan, you would obviously need a data plan to share with all of the devices on the account.
