So I've been a verizon customer for the last several years and its been fantastic. Untill recently that is. I got a month behind on my bill due to loss of employment and I've slowly been working on getting it caught up but it seems like when I can pay my past due amount its time to my current amount so I've been working on this. So a few weeks ago my service is shut off due to lack of payment. which is understandable. I called and set up an automatic checking account transfer for november 8 and my service is reinstated immediately after hanging up the phone. So november 8th comes around, I get an email saying thank you for your payment it has been posted. Look at my verizon app and the amount is applied to my account. But never been pulled out of my account. A week later they decide to pull the money from the account. But it ended up being a few cents short due to the fact that I had another bill payment come out of my check. So the payment doesn't go through and my service ends up being shut off november 21. That wasn't an issue due to the fact that i was getting paid the next day. So November 22 i log in on my phone to make my payment and it says i must go to a store and make a cash payment. Mildly inconvenient but i go after work and pay the past due amount in cash and i still do not have service and my next billl will be due before i have my next paycheck. Why wasn't my service reinstated after I paid my past due amount? If i was aware that was going to happen i wouldnt have paid until it was time for my next bill also.
