Is anyone else experience super slow data in DC?

All this week, service at my office has been terrible. I'm on Constitution Ave & 12th, near the Smithsonian & I mean it is just awful and I am kind of freaking out about it. This is why I left my last carrier with whom I was with for 10 years and one day the service just went pot. I tested out Verizon for 4 months to ensure that it worked in my building by purchasing a cheap, used phone and I had service just fine. I bought a brand new phone last month, now I am enslaved in a contract for the next 2 years and the service has already become shoddy. What gives?

Is anyone else having problems in the District.

We don't want you to regret your decision to join us NettaC! What zip code is this? Is this both voice and data service? What make and model is the current device? How is the service outside of your workplace? I'm sorry our control is limited inside a specific structure.

I have the Galaxy S3 and all this months later service still is extremely slow, if working at all.

It can't be the building because first thing in the morning (I'm at my desk by 7am) everything works perfectly fine. However, everyday at mid morning around 9 or 10 am, it just dies.

I will have 3 to 5 bars, the little 4G Lte icon is on & still nothing.

When I leave DC & get back to Virgina, it goes crazy with notification pings of all the emails, I've missed through out the day.

Oh my goodness, NettaC. This must be very frustrating. Let's look a little closer. When the phone dies does it ever come back during the day? Is anyone else having problems too? How long has this been going on? Have we replaced the SIM card for you at all?

Its been several months & no, the sim card has not been replaced. Actual shutdowns have only occured a few times and once I remove the battery, I can get it to come up. The non-existent data speed occurs daily everyday around the same time. I am the only person in my office with Verizon. My 3 office mates have AT&T & they are working fine, so I really don't believe it is the building we are in.

I will take it to a service center & have it checked out.
