I have a 4G verizon service and cannot get service at my home. zip code 46041
Hello Maryk40,We know that you are SUPER excited to harness the power of our 4G LTE network. After all, the speeds are so impressive that the Flash would be proud! I checked the zip code that you have provided and there isn't any issues reported here. May I ask what make and model device do you have? Are you having an issue just at home? Also, are you having voice issues as well? As you share the details of the issue then we can customize a solution for you.Thank you...ArnettH_VZW Follow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
I have IPHONE 4s. Yes, it is mostly at home. Other of my family are also having the same problems when they are at my home. Yes we have voice issues, have to run around to find a good place to talk or send messages. I live in a small town outside Frankfort, In. My town is Scircleville, Indiana. We do not live in Frankfort, but in their zip code. Had another service with another phone and had the same problems.

The iphone 4s is not a 4G LTE device and doesn't have the radio hardware to access the Verizon Wireless network.
Hi Maryk40,I'm sorry to learn of the service issues you are experiencing at home. As indicated by Ann154 (thanks!) the iPhone 4S is not a 4G device and can only access our 3G network. Based on your post it appears that there is structural interference impacting your wireless service. Most customers with indoor service issues are able to resolve with a http://bit.ly/AKkC Network Extender. This is a one time fee investment that has proven to greatly improve indoor service. Please consider getting one to resolve this indoor service issue.AntonioC_VZWFollow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/VZWSupport

The device you suggested is way too expensive for me. Maybe a closer tower could be added out here. Others in the area are having problems also.

We are always looking to expand coverage to our customers, Maryk40! Thanks so much for your feedback. We don't have information as far as tower implementation goes. If you should change your mind about the Network Extender, just let us know. TamaraH_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportTamaraH_VZW
I am having a similar issue with no service at home. I have ordered the network extender and am waiting on it to arrive but I work from home and as a result can not work until it arrives. I am in an area that is supposed to have 4G LTE coverage and I am only about a mile from the Verizon store. I was told that there is a number that you can call to get to re-route service through a different phone tower. Zip code is 29414.
Thank you
We understand the importance of having reliable service at home BSzmidt, especially when it's your workplace! I'm pleased to hear that a network extender is on its way. This is our best recommendation for indoor service challenges. I'm sorry our control is limited until it arrives. There isn't an option to route your device to a different tower. It is designed to pick up the strongest signal available. We appreciate your patience.JonathanK_VZWVZW SupportFollow Us on Twitter@VZWSupport
