Loss of unlimited data when upgrading!

I am furious to learn that

• for the "privilege" of spending $ 250 for a new Note 2, I must pay VZW $30-so much for loyalty
• they will NOT honor Best Buy's $99 price, according to customer service
• as a reward for extending my 20+ years of loyalty for another 2 years, VZW will reduce my data from Unlimited to 2gig for the same cost
• I am welcome to make an outright purchase at a re-DONKulous price to keep things the same

Nothing like a company knowing they have you at every opportunity.

If I didn't travel so extensively and really heavily on their network, I would so be outta here!

The $250 for a note 2 even with the $30 upgrade fee is still much less than the "re-DONKulous" full retail price.  You are still getting a discount.

Best Buy owns their own equipment and can set whatever prices they would like.  Other companies should not be simply expected to price match another companies goods.  If you want the $99 price then go to best buy and get it.

The dropping of unlimited data has been around for quite some time now and is fully avoidable by purchasing at full retail or buying a used device online.  You want a discounted device, you must agree to the terms set forth by Verizon Wireless.
