Keep Unlimited Data While Using New Payment Plan

Hello may I can get help here.

Can I keep my Unlimited Data Plan and use Verizon's 12 month Payment plan to get a new phone. I have called Verizon and twice was told I could keep my data plan and get a new phone by using the 12 month payment plan but when I went to 2 different stores today, and they said I couldn't use the 12 moth payment plan cause it would cause me to lose my data plan.

So is there a way I could get a phone using the payment plan and still keep my data plan. My contract is already up and I am now on a month to month plan.

just give up, your not going to be able to keep your unlimited data.

As long as you are paying full retail on the phone you can keep your unlimited Data Plan as well as use the 12 month payment plan. If you try to get a subsidized phone then you would also need to sign a new 2 year contract and you would lose your Unlimited data.

Best bet is to buy the phone at full retail on a credit card and make the 12 monthly payments to the Credit Card company, then just activate the phone on your existing number so Verizon does not have a chance to mess with your plan because even though you are allowed to retain Unlimited Data if you pay full retail or bring your own phone to be activated, as soon as a Verizon employee hits the button and removes Unlimited, you will never get it back.

Well said Jakeman1. As he stated, a great way to retain unlimited data is to purchase a new device at retail value. While we know that most devices can be as much as $600 dollars, the device payment plan makes it convenience to afford almost any device that we have available.
