Awesome service at BJ's Wholesale Club, HORRID Service at 4154 McKinley Pkwy.

The Verizon Wireless Store located inside BJ's Wholesale Club is staffed by knowledgeable, helpful professionals who give Verizon a GREAT name!!! We went there after multiple mistreatments by the people at the 4154 McKinley Parkway Hamburg (near Tops) store. This store should be closed! After 30 minutes in the queue, 10 of which being #1 in the queue, we left because they took 2 walk-ins before us. 4 others left as well without being serviced. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever in my life received and this has happened to me at the McKinley location several times. Shame on me for returning there. Do they even have a manager who runs the store or were they on break for their whole shift?? Gives Verizon an incredibly poor name. Don't go to McKinley Parkway location!!! Horrid, unprofessional, are gross understatements for 4154 McKinley Parkway... other than them, I am happy with Verizon.

The verizon kiosk is not really verizon wireless but a certified reseller if verizon services .

They normally grab business from corporate stores but remember all is not the same in many respects.

They don't have full system access to your account and they may not be able to do certain plan functions. Some even charge to make a payment and many times they do not do warranty exchanges or returns. It is a chance

Wait, so you mean to tell me that the Reseller, or Kiosk, provides superlative service while a Real Verizon store is the one that is beyond atrocious?!? That makes it that much worse in my opinion!! We've had a full complement of Verizon services from FiOS to our cells for over 6 years and have overall been pleased, so the fact that this ONE store is so supremely awful is one that you would think would make someone with any clout in Verizon whatsoever stand up and take notice and proactively attempt to rectify this! Especially given the number of online complaints about this one Verizon location. I'm tempted to go picket outside it was that bad....

You know good or bad service is because of the people not the store in general.

At my corporate store its pretty good service from most of them. The manager on the other hand is a total idiot in my opinion. The old manager and I were friends and it was 100% excellent service.

So you see its all in the people you hire that either makes or breaks the customer experience.

BJ's I have found does a good job and they are hungry, so making you happy is a priority. I know a few resellers that are way better at helping customer than company owned stores.

But the main thing is you are happy now, and you know where to go in the future.
