The wait time to speak to a customer service rep is ridiculous! I don't have an hour to sit and wait to talk to someone. I am outraged with Verizon and about to switch service providers!!!!!
I waited for 60 minutes on hold for tech support before I finally just hung up... and all the while, I had to listen to Verizon's annoying hold-time messages, ads, etc.
There is something not quite right about Verizon. In many ways, it acts like a an old Ma Bell phone company.
Maybe it's time to give T-Mobile or ATT a try.
They are the Ma Bell company. Just the wireless division with a new name.
However if you call and push option 4 and say agent, or keep pushing Zero on the key pad you will get someone much faster.
Verizon is closing customer support centers and merging operations in others. Loss of staff, loss of centers, longer wait times. Its to keep the profit margins up and streamline the company.
They just spent billions to get Vodafone out of their hair.

it seems more and more people have been calling in to Verizon lately for some reason. One way I have found that helps is that if it's a network/billing issue of course you have to call Verizon, if it's a phone issue you can always call the manufacturer of the phone (e.g. suddenly not able to receive e-mails, phone freezing etc.) calls to Samsung/Motorola/lg have usually still been little to no wait time and they tend to know their product better.
