Was it crazy to wait that long? Probably, it was clear that Verizon's vaunted customer service failed tonight, I finally gave up when my phone battery started indicating it was about to die.
Yikes!! That is sooooo long to wait. It's is interesting to read and view how some people are really having a hard time with Verizon. I guess you got the lemon this evening/day……. Since being with Verizon for SO long, I've never had a problem with them or with customer service (CS). I HAVE called CS in the past and as early as two months ago and only had to wait 15 minutes. One time in NYC, I only had to wait 1 minute.
NOT to say it all good and what is wrong with you, but I find it interesting how and why someone people get through to CS when they need to and some---- like you, have to wait and wait and wait some more. Anyway, I say try again….. try calling at different times through out the day. Hang in there :smileyhappy:
I sympathize. After spending an unreasonable amount of time waiting for a
representative on the chat line, finally one appeared by the screen name
Mark A. I have had an account for several years that includes my family
(5 kids), wife, and some business equipment (i.e. ipad). I assure you that
this does not come for free. In short after being completely unhelpful in aiding
me find a phone to upgrade, I asked Mark A. if there were any specials at all
to which he replied ("you can get a 2 yr. contract on any of the phones").
Literally. I requested a supervisor twice, a request with which he never complied,
and on the third and final request I realized he had terminated the chat. I have
it all copied and it will be sent to management, but seriously people! Is this
Mark A. getting paid to lose customers for Verizon? I chatted with him around
10:00 pm California time to
night, although the screen said something about AZ.
