Something Went Wrong Error Message Pop Up

I have been having the same problem for some time. Went to the local Verizon store, and no help. The cloud seemed to be the problem for me too. I went into the Verizon app on my phone and it recommended I syc the clock.....I did and haven't seen the pop-up since....hope this does the trick.....

In order to properly troubleshoot, we need the exact message.

"Something Went Wrong Please wait a moment and try again. If the problem persists try logging in. Retry"

When you hit retry, it simply repeats..... HELP !!!

What are you doing to specifically get that message? Or is it happening out of nowhere?

I've been getting the same error message. It pops up constantly when I'm in the middle of doing something else totally unrelated to the cloud. Please help!

If I am signed on to any wi-fi, the message pops up.

Let's keep your device error message free! Which specific Motorola Android are you currently using? Do you have information on the Cloud? Is the device set up to sync? You can check this information via Settings > Cloud

smlmdi we'll get it working again! What phone make/model do you have? To make sure I'm clear, you've noticed the pop up occurs when using Verizon Cloud? If not, when are you receiving this error message?

I have a motorola droid razar...the pop up shows up anytime I am on a wi-fi conection....the cloud...I'm not sure I even understand the cloud other than the fact it may raining on my phone.

You could try deleting the Cloud cache.

App Drawer > Settings > Apps > All > Cloud (Verizon Cloud) > Stop > Delete Data

I have the DROID RAZR M. Same issues as smimdi is posting.

You need to create your own thread.

That seems to have worked....I'll let you know if it comes back. OK, now that I have done that....am I missing something now , with the "Cloud"? BTW, thank you so very much for working with me on this....it has driven me bonkers.....

What do you mean? I would suggest using Google to backup your information. The Cloud has been shown to give many people more difficulty than it's worth.

Excuse me??? This was MY thread. Then smimdi took over for the same problem. Also, I am still having problems. I am so sick of this. I am looking at other providers now. I shouldn't have to pay for this. Today Im trying to sync the cloud online and it says network is down. WTH??? Take this cloud off of my phone!!!

We would be sad to see you leave the Verizon Wireless family. We love your loyalty and wish to continue to be your provided for many years to come. I can understand this issue can be furstrating. Were you able to go into Settings, Apps, All, Verizon Cloud, and do the force stop, clear data. Once that is done head back to the home screen power the phone off all the way. Wait about 10-15 seconds and then power the device back on. Please keep us posted.

I've been getting the same message. It started recently after they pushed an update for Verizon Cloud. It took a few days to figure out the cause but it's definitely the cloud app. Very frustrating when the message doesn't tell you what app is causing the issue.

Did you ever get a solution for this issue?

Just tried the reply (#18) from Verizon and so far it seemed to work. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Same problem here - Verizon Casio Gz'One phone. Did the same clear data thing too! I have my fingers crossed as well - that message is annoying!!!

So for - so good.

Looks like that did the trick. No annoying message all day yesterday and none today.

So as i type the screen has popped up several times...what is the solution. This problem is causing me to move to another carrier.
