Ok so I just got this feature, I went to download a few voicemails to archive, it's stuck in some .qcp file format that I can't get to playback on any program that I can find! I only got visual voicemail just for saving my messages, please help!
Google .qcp file - it should play on your phone and in Windows media player.
Alternatives to paying for Visual Voicemail from Verizon are You Mail and Google Voicemail. Both work with your Verizon number, and the files are mp3 format. There are free and paid versions; I've used the free version of both and would recommend either one instead of Verizon's VVM.

I can get it to play on my phone but not in windows or any other media players. I just want something simple like mp3, but I guess verizon wanted to make it difficult. Thanks for your answer, I'll probably drop VVM.
