What does ##########@vzwpix.com mean on my phone bill?

I understand that this is normally used when pictures are sent between phones, but I see this on texts that I KNOW i didn't send a picture? Is this common when texting between a android device and an apple device? Other than sending pictures, when else would this show up? Also, these weren't sent from email to phone or vice versa either. Thanks for help!

Did you send any group messages (which are sent as MMS and not as SMS)?

No, no group messages. Just a regular text between an android device and apple. Some showed up as regular texts others had the phone number with the vzwpix at the end.

Hmm, that's odd let's get this mystery resolved! Does this appear on your invoice or unbilled usage? Does it happen with all numbers or just one? Please provide additional information so we can get to the bottom of this.

It appears on my electronic billing statements and also when I review the

usage during billing periods. It happens with various numbers but

predominantly with numbers not coming from iphones. Some were verizon

users as well as other carriers.

Thanks for the additional information. Were any of the messages that show vzwpix.com long messages with more then 140 characters. Messages that are long and take more then one message to send through also come through as MMS messages. Keep us posted.
