Verizon Tower in Yellowstone National Park at Lake Area Campground

Was curious as to the status of this tower.

Is it a seasonal tower for services by visitors in the park at the lake area.

Is it only a temporary tower for a contractor or vendor.

If it is seasonal tower for visitors in the park in the lake area are any coops being discussed with other providers so that others can access the tower.

It could be a Promotional thing.. For the Area your seeing it in, Or if Towers are not allowed to be built in certain places in the National Parks.. they may allow for a Portable one's to be placed in the area your Describing..

Currently Old Faithful, Canyon and Grant have a tower we have used the Grant Tower for the last three years. Last year Verizon ended its three year commitment at grant and west Yellowstone and received approval to complete a permenant tower it is located in the NPS area of the Lake Area employee Campground we are using it with our Verizon hot spot. Unfortunately the other towers allow shared usage by visitors using other providers. The Lake area tower is specifically Verizon customers, It would be nice if Verizon would let us as Verizon customers a little more information concerning the use of that tower.
