Wifi on droid maxx will not turn on

All of this is happening because of the new update, and a factory reset won't erase it. A lot of issues. I hope vzw is going to pay my overages since they won't let me access my WiFi.
I Am having the same problem. For a couple of months already my wifi has been spotty and now I haven't been able to get it working at all!
all of the research I've found suggests that, just like what cnow said, it is a software update issue.
BUt what can we do in the meantime?
