I want to add a 6th line without changing the current plan which includes two phone lines with unlimited data plans.
You certainly can add a 6th line if you are credit approved but it will not be part of your family plan. It will have its own minute, text and data charge. This new line might be required to go on the More Everything and will be billed on average $60 for 2GB and the $40 smartphone fee ($30 is it's a basic phone). You're better off looking at More Everything. How much data do your unlimited lines actually use?
Thanks. I guess More Everything Plan it is. I use about 2 GB on the unlimited line. I just hate giving up the unlimited data. Kinda feel special having it. Lol. Also, the new plan will be $10 more a month.
$10 more a month for the lines you already have or the lines you already have plus the 6th line on it's own plan plus $10? You really should compare what it would cost both ways.
I wouldn't worry about the unlimited data. I had it and I used less than 1GB. I went on More Everything and I use 5. I use more because I know how much I have and I monitor it. With unlimited there's no need to monitor and nobody ever knows how much they use. One thing is for sure, people's habits don't generally change. What uses the most data is video and music streaming. If you never did this on unlimited, chances are you won't on a tiered plan.
It is actually $10 more per month for the entire account if I were to switch to the More Everything Plan. That's if I choose the least amount of data (ie 8 GB for 5 phones), otherwise it is more.
That is for your current 5 phones. I am assuming they are all smart phone? More Everything would be $90 + ($40 X 5) to equal $290. This total is $10 more than what you are paying now? Just imagine that $280 (if my assumption is correct) plus another 2GB $50 + $40 equaling $90 for the 6th line. That would make $280 + $90 = $370 or switching to ME at 8GB $90 + ($40 X 6) = $330.
Rough estimates on numbers.
sprmankalel, thanks for helping us support Annie0404 with information regarding adding a 6th line to her account. For her convenience, she can add a 6th line and switch to the MORE Everything plan online at My Verizon. Here's more information on how to do this: http://vz.to/1hGfVZsLasinaH_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Yes, LasinaH_VZW she can certainly just switch to ME. I was just trying to help her with the cost benefit of the 2 options she has. If VZW had it their way everyone would be on ME and LOTS of people would actually be paying more than needed.
