I called Verizon wireless prior to leaving the states and understand it is 1.99/min talking and .50 outgoing texts and .05 incoming. If the phone is on and roaming, am I getting charged just for the phone actively roaming? Right now I took out the battery (since my phone sometimes won't completely power down). However, I was in St Thomas for a few days earlier and was roaming for a few hours at a time there when I needed to keep cellular service on to receive important (brief) calls. Thanks for any help on what to expect.
