Lied to about when employee discount starts

I was lied to about my employee discount being applied as I received a letter saying it was activated and then I did not receive the discount on the current bill that I have due. This is ridiculous and I have been an employee with my company for almost a year, so I should not have to wait to start receiving the discount.

Calm down. Being an employee of your company has nothing to do with Verizon wireless.

It takes 2-3 billing cycles to appear on your invoice. Nothing is done instantly.

Not that this helps, but I believe my corporate/government discount was active immediately (both for the monthly recurring charges and my initial purchase of accessories).

They activate it, but it is not actually on the bill for two billing cycles. The accessories portion was active on the spot.
