Leaving Bluetooth On

I posted this a week ago and got no replies, maybe I didn't post it correctly, so here we go again.Sorry

My car has a Bluetooth hands free phone. Each time I leave the car I turn off the Bluetooth, but I'm constantly forgetting to turn it back on when I get in. It also uses something called Entune Radio that uses Bluetooth as well. My question is.....

Does leaving Bluetooth on at all times rapidly deplete the phones battery power and does it leave the phone vulnerable to a security hack ?

I completely understand how important it is to fully understand all the features on your phone! Bluetooth is a great tool to have with a ton of conveniences, and your security is always VZW's number 1 concern.
