If my contract with Verizon is up, does that mean I can take my phone to another carrier (ie straight talk's Bring Your Own Phone program)? I have a clean ESN and no remaining balance on phone or account.

With getting the phone on to a different carrier you would need to reach out to that carrier to see if the phone will work on there service or plans. Please keep us posted.
