A Verizon customer service representative told me i was eligible for an 'Ineligible Device Offer since my upgrade isnt until 05/15. I went to my Verizon retailer today and they told me no such offer ever existed.
Retailers often don't have access to offers made by corporate.
Was the retailer a corporate store or a third party retailer?
It wasn't a corporate store. I had another Verizon customer service representative contact me late last night and informed me that the offer was only valid through the corporate stores. She was more than helpful. She located the nearest corporate store to me, (which is 100 miles away), and because of the distance and the confusion, she processed everything for me over the phone. Im still confused (and she was also) about the retailer i went to telling me that such an offer never existed.
She explained that the retailer wouldn't be able to honor the 'Ineligible Device Offer', it is only through corporate stores. I understand that totally. She also explained that the retailer should have provided me with that information, instead of telling me that no such offer existed.

Thank u for wanting to help w/ the issue i was having but its taken care of
now. A customer service rep messaged me on Facebook late Monday night. Then
she called me @ 9 am Tuesday and done everything over the phone so i didn't
have to go to a corporate store. She was extremely helpful and extremely
apologetic for the runaround the Verizon retailer had gave me.
