Hi, someone sold me his/her iPhone 4s. Im currently in Malaysia, but can't seem to use the Local Maxis SIM to use the phone. Is it locked internationally? I thought it was only locked in the US? Can it be unlocked?

It can be unlocked, but Verizon will only do so if it is CURRENTLY ACTIVE on a Verizon line of service.
