I want to file a complaint on Lori (removed) she said she was a supervisor with Verizon. She basically told me that Verizon is okay with losing a customer over $30.00.
I added a line a few months back that my sister was suppose to take over and due to the loss of her job was unable to, so to offset the additional $10.00 for a little while, I suspended the line. Therefore never actually seeing a charge for the line until my last months bill of which I had been charged $30.00 instead of the $10.00 I spoke to someone in customer service who put me on a different plan and reduced my bill back down to what I was use to paying and from my understanding was going to correct the bill for the prior month. Well after I paid my bill I kept getting calls about a past due balance come to find out the credit wasn't applied.
I called in to find out the issue and after being told by a customer service rep I had always been charged $40.00 (because she obviously missed the entire conversation and was referring to the wrong line) told me I was not due a credit. I was then transferred to Lori who also said the same thing and told me she was ok with losing a customer who has two lines of service and pays over $100.00 to Verizon every month. She then offered to terminate my service but not before telling me I was the one losing out because going to someone else wouldn't be cheaper.
YES THIS IS THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO REPRESENTS YOUR COMPANY. THIS IS THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO MADE AN EXECUTIVE DECISION AND BASICALLY TOLD ME SHE DOESN'T NEED MY BUSINESS.
I am appalled at the service I received today and I am actively looking for a another provider.
Never in my personal 10 years of customer service experience have I spoke to someone and represented my employer in that manner. It goes to show why Sprint is still in business. They may have poor service but there customer service is exceptional. Customer service keeps customers and Verizon failed at that today.
