One option is our Family Base feature which will allow you set data limits to any compatible device on your account http://vz.to/19yg5mu In addition some devices have a built in feature that will allow you to restrict data usage when a certain limit is reached such as the HTC Droid DNA. Yes, you can get an additional 1 GB of data. If you have a data allowance, you are not cut off when you hit your allowance. If you go over, you will simply be charged for an overage. Depending on your plan, your overage is most likely either $10/GB or $15/GB.
