I know phone calls from my favorite contacts will come through while do not disturb is on, but will text messages from my favorite contacts come through as well?
Jessej330,That's a great question! I can understand wanting to still receive your text messages from your favorite contacts. As you have seen on your iPhone these are the basic features of the Do Not Disturb option; http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5463. It only shows at this time the allow "calls" from favorites option. Your text messages will still come in, but you will not be alerted if Do Not Disturb is turned on at this time.Apple is always working on improving their software.
