Hi,
My phone recently got damaged so I'm looking for a new phone. If I'm able to find a phone to use, could I set it up so that it's under the same contract I have currently? Would it have the same number?
Thank you.
Yes, as long as it is a Verizon branded phone and has a clean ESN (not reported lost or stolen or had a bad debt) and not from a prepaid plan (unless it has been active for at least 6 months on a prepaid account).
You can replace your damaged phone with a different phone.
If it is a 4G phone, simply put your SIM card in the new phone.
If it is not a 4G phone, you can dial *228, option 1 to program it to your line.
As long as the phone is made to wok on the Verizon network you can use it. And as long as the ESN is clean. Your contract is to the line not the device.
