Why don't people receive my text messages?

Hello there! I am a Verizon customer and just had a quick question. My friends that use U.S. Cellular don't seem to receive my text messages ever. I find this intriguing, because I get their texts just fine. So basically, I'm receiving their stuff fine, but they aren't receiving my stuff. I feel like this might be a U.S. Cellular problem, because my other friends that don't use U.S. Cellular get my texts just fine. I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to fix this. If it matters, I use a Motorola Moto X.

I understand your concern, we always want you to have reliable service and receive all your messages/calls. I'm glad you're able to text and receive without a problem from all other users. Since you clarified this is the case, it all points to your phone/service working flawlessly; your friends will have to contact their provider to advise them.

Maybe it's due to deferent cellular frequencies sometimes it could be the setting of the phone i guess, not 100% sure. My question was that i used to be able to check email from my phone but for some reason the mobil mail app was expired and required an additional purchase in order to use the mobile mail services. I was pretty confused because i thought the mobile mail was supposed to come with the phone service as long as it has the web data browsing feature.

I am glad that I finally could use the text message services from my phone although the mobile email app stopped working and i thought it already comes with the phone instead of another separate app.

a few things I have checked for my phone

1) call the customer service number and request for representative sometimes you may be able to reach one who can directly assist you

2) when you're on the line to verizon customer service it may prompt you to dial another number to update your phone software

3) follow up on the conversations from you could help as well
